Welcome to the Anchor Baptist Church Bus Ministry. If you have children and would like them to attend church, please call us and make arrangements for them to participate.
The Bus Ministry is one of the most active and rewarding ministries in which you can be envolved. Bus Workers and Patoral Staff visit homes in our community each Saturday to arrange and confirm participation by children and some parents in the Bus Ministry. Sunday morning, the bus leavess from the church at approximately 8:30 AM to travel through the neighborhoods to bring everyone to Sunday School.
Sunday School opens at 9:30 AM for all of the young people. Following the Opening, different age groups move on to thier own Sunday School Classes. Sunday School ends at 10:30 AM and is followed immediately by Junior Church.
Following Junior Church at Noon, the Bus departs to return everyone home.
Fall Bus Program
Puppets Bob and Bernadette blasted off Sunday, September 16th for a seven week journey into space! Your child can join them on this Sunday School adventure. Discover with them the Bible’s teachings on caring, sharing, honesty, God’s love, and love for each other as Bob and Bernadette travel to planets with BIG problems!
There’s a yummie surprize treat every week!
• Opening starts Sunday morning September 16th at 9:30am.
• Regular Sunday School classes and a Junior Church program will follow. Dismissal is
at noon.
• Parents are invited to enjoy the adult Bible study and church service held at the same times.
